What is Sliding Scale?
On this website we do our best to use a sliding scale. We would like to make our work available to all, while also helping educate our communities about what it takes to make artwork and pay artists equitable/liveable wages.
In order to do so we all need to be part of educating ourselves about capitalism and privilege. We feel it imperative we all learn how to assess 'what resources do I have and have access to?' and from that establish appropriate amounts to give. This helps balance the scale so to speak.
